New and Enhanced Features on Compliance.ai: October 2021
November 4, 2021
In October 2021, we focused on capabilities to help our clients further streamline their regulatory change management experience, adding flexibility that helps you better align our solution to the needs of your organization, as well as your individual preferences. Additionally, we have continued enhancing our coverage ofU.S. Insurance, Taxation, and Employmentrelated regulatory updates and key international sources.
Reduce complexity in your workflow by assigning tasks to multiple people at once using “dependent” task
Create dynamic workflows that allow you to assign tasks on-the-fly. With “dependent” task assignments, we’ve made it easier for you to simplify your workflows by engaging different team members, or even multiple team members throughout the process. By using our new assignee annotation within any workflow step, you can build workflows that allow you to choose the right subject matter expert(s) to analyze the wide variety of regulatory changes for which you are completing workflows real-time.
To see how you can leverage this new workflow capability to create simpler workflows that are both more flexible and more manageable, review this short video.
Filter out the noise: Leverage preferred language to avoid reviewing the same regulatory document in multiple languages
If you review regulatory documents published by agencies in multiple languages, make sure to add our new language filter to new and existing alerts. By adding your preferred language, for example English, your search will exclude all versions of a specific document published in languages other than English, reducing potential duplicate reviews.
Note that your searches will still surface documents published only in other languages, so you can be sure not to miss critical content.
We’ve set English as the default language, but if you want to choose a different preferred language, simply access Profile > Account, choose your preferred language and click Update. While you’re selecting language, you can also update your time zone so you can receive task and notification emails at your preferred time. Just click “Update” and your time zone will be recognized automatically.
Receive your alerts when the time is right for you
We know our clients’ work days start at different times and you like to receive emails on different cadences, so we’ve updated our task and notifications emails to be sent at your preferred time. In addition, you can receive weekly emails on your selected day.
To update your task and alert email delivery date and time, and go to Profile > Account to make sure your time zone is correct, then access the Email Notifications tab to pick the delivery day and time that works best for you.
Optimize your Regulatory Command Center with Personal Widgets To help you get the most out of your custom widgets, we’ve enhanced our “create a widget” feature to enable you to add multiple alerts into a single widget. If you haven’t yet created a custom widget, go to Notifications and choose the “Create Widget” option for any of your key alerts. Then, you can either add additional alerts to your existing custom widget or create new, alert-specific widgets.
With your custom widget, you’ll have immediate, dashboard access to the most recent regulatory changes related to your alerts. If you need to see more documents, you can simply click “See All” to scan through all documents related to any alert.
Review this quick video to find out how to make the most of personal widgets.
Get more focused results using our updated Search API and improved documentation
Similar to the pro.compliance.ai application, you can now filter content based on the selected threshold for topics assigned to documents, using the newly available parameter called “topic_threshold_key”. Test out the new filter attribute using our Interactive API.
We have also updated documentation on the Developer Platform. For Concepts, we have added meta-concept and definitions for each one to help you understand what criteria we use, and what regulatory content to expect when applying Concept filters.
