New and Enhanced Features on Compliance.ai: October 2022
November 18, 2022
During October, we continued improving two key capabilities of our platform – helping you search more efficiently and manage your workflows more effectively. In addition, we’re offering a sneak peek at the kinds of insights you can experience with our new Bring Your Own Content solution.
We also continued enriching our regulatory coverage, most notably adding new content and regulatory updates for insurance, banking, consumer protection, finance, taxation, and healthcare related matters from US state regulators. We have also continued expanding our international regulatory coverage further within Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Canada, China, European Union, Germany, Denmark, Spain, and Japan.
Speed up on-boarding with Business Profiling
Business profiling is designed to take the guesswork out of establishing the filters you’ll need to search for information that’s critical to your business. You’ve probably already set up the federal agencies you want to follow, but now we’ve refreshed our recommended state level agencies to help you focus on the most relevant state level content. To take advantage of our streamlined recommendations, try completing business profiling again. If you’re already happy with your defaults, but want to check out the changes, simply access the Profile menu, choose Admin, and reset your company profile. You can switch back to your personal defaults at any time.
Faster access to relevant regulatory content: New shortcuts help you search across related jurisdictions with a single click
Whether you’re searching for documents or customizing your dashboard, you can use our new jurisdiction shortcuts to select related jurisdictions with ease. As a starting point, we grouped Canadian Provinces & Territories and US States, but contact us to request other jurisdiction or agency groupings and we can add new shortcuts in a snap.
Improve your next Regulatory Audit: Workflow enhancements ensure auditability and control
We know our users rely on Compliance.ai for critical tasks that require a high degree of control. Every annotation within our workflows was already fully auditable, but now we’ve made sure all task annotations are “locked” once a task is marked done so no one can accidentally make an unexpected change. If you make a mistake you can still uncomplete a task and change a decision, but now, the only edit you can make on a task that’s been completed is adding or replying to a comment.
Reduce Policy intelligence guess-work using Bring your Own Content: For a limited time, enjoy a sneak peek at new insights available with Bring Your Own Content
Earlier this year during our EITL forum, we introduced our new Bring Your Own Content (BYOC) solution, designed to help you bridge the gap between regulatory content and your own related documents such as policies and legal guidance. For a limited time, we’re providing access to BYOC to all our Team licensed users to help explore the added insights you’ll experience with BYOC.
Designed to help you visualize the connections between regulations and your policies, try creating your own “Comparison Widget” to explore the connections between regulations in different jurisdictions or regulations and whitepapers and news. Simply select any notification based on an advanced search, choose “Create Comparison Widget”, then choose your comparison alert to create your own insights.
We also introduced a new label widget to help you visualize critical policy-related information such as classifiers. You can use this widget more broadly to understand how you and your colleagues are labeling documents within Compliance.ai
