New and Enhanced Features on Compliance.ai: September 2021
October 1, 2021
In September 2021, we focused on capabilities to help our clients further personalize their regulatory change management experience. We also upgraded our US CFR coverage to take advantage of near-immediate updates. Additionally, we introduced new US state regulatory resources focused on healthcare, employment and taxation as well as key international regulatory resources including the European Commission publications.
Collaborate with interested parties using Compliance.ai Lite
Now, you can engage stakeholders within your organization in key compliance initiatives by provisioning Compliance.ai Lite user types to your colleagues. You can share folders and alerts with Lite users to ensure they have easy read-only access to content you’re reviewing as a team. In addition, Lite users can view annotations and obligation assessments added by other Compliance.ai users.
Note that the Lite User type is intended for team members with whom you wish to share information rather than active team participants who need to complete workflow tasks, add annotations, and assess obligations.
For more information about adding Lite users to your organization, contact support@compliance.ai.
Personalize your experience by tailoring your state-level regulatory sources
Fine tune agency selection in non-country jurisdictions using our new Default Filter options. Interested in the DOI, but not the OAG for a particular state? Simply access Default Filters > Regulatory Sources and open state-level filters to choose your preferred agencies. Fine-tune your state sources for greater control over your default search parameters and dashboard widgets.
eCFR updates now available through Compliance.ai
We’ve upgraded our US CFRs capabilities. Going forward, you’ll see new versions of CFRs as they are published on the source in near-real time, rather than waiting for quarterly updates. If you need to follow a specific part of the CFR closely, try adding an alert to receive automatic notification whenever CFRs within the chapter, part or subpart you’re most interested in are added to the Compliance.ai platform.
Filter out the noise: Leverage “exact” or “close match” text options to pinpoint your searches
Improve your search results and further focus your regulatory notifications using our new “exact” and “close match” text options available with basic and advanced searches. To narrow down your search to specific terms, use the default Exact Text match. If you want to broaden your criteria, for example for singular and plural words, try Close Match. If you’re searching using our search bar, words in quotes are treated as exact. Remove the quotes and you’ll receive close match search results.
Expanding Integration options: Access Regulatory Content through two new API Endpoints
We’ve added new flexibility in using our API to retrieve enhanced regulatory content: Document Search endpoint has been expanded to allow for POST requests, making it easier to add multiple values for each parameter through the request body. Until now, the Document Search endpoint was only available as a GET method. Test out the new endpoint using our Interactive API.
Another API endpoint was introduced for those users that want to access enhanced regulatory content using our API, but want to combine the request with filtering capabilities available directly in our Pro/Team/Service Connector products (pro.compliance.ai). The new “Pre-Filtered-Content” API endpoint provides authorized API users the ability to retrieve regulatory content that matches a select group of Alerts defined by their Organization’s users in the Compliance.ai application. Learn more about how this new endpoint fits into our various Service Connector integration options.
